Aditya Goel, co-founder of Love In Store Technologies Pvt. Ltd, has been recognised in the ‘BW Retail World 40 under 40 list’ by BW Businessworld.
Goel completed his MBA from IIFT Delhi and worked in leading FMCG companies such as Godrej Consumer Product Limited and Reckitt Benckiser India in sales.
However, his life changed when he was fired from his last company. He started his own venture, ‘Love in Store’, from a co-work table in Okhla. With a purely bootstrapped and profitable business model, the company scaled up to around 5000 full-time employees and 41 FMCG clients in just five years. Creating employment was a key personal goal for Goel, and he has achieved it satisfactorily.
Love In Store started with four team members, and the first three clients acquired were RB, Britannia, and PepsiCo. In the following years, the company launched Managed Services at scale, expanded its team, and acquired more key customers.
During the pandemic, Love In Store Technologies expanded threefold, with a field team reaching 2000 people and expanding rapidly in the Modern Trade Channel.
The company has taken an omnichannel approach to enhance the retail process. It manages 4500 BA & ISPs enabled with best-in-class technology and image recognition-based AI audits, which not only help execute but also offer deep insights.
It owns the entire in-store execution across 50,000 top stores across 330 cities and offers a unique direct bank account payment and engagement solution.
Additionally, the company owns listing, content, performance marketing, and runs a tech-enabled crawler that executes across 22 e-commerce platforms.
It is a bootstrapped profitable company, and its PAT is 15 per cent of the next revenue. The total net revenue for FY 2022-23, including managed services plus payouts, was more than 13 crores.
Goel has received several honours and awards, including Young Entrepreneurs Awards and Emerging Businesses and a also has given validation to a B2B setup.
