Saurabh Kalra has been promoted to the position of Managing Director of Westlife Foodworld’s subsidiary, which operates McDonald’s restaurants in western and southern India.
He takes over from Smita Jatia, who had been the Managing Director since 2010. Kalra, who previously served as the Chief Operating Officer, will be responsible for the overall business strategy and growth opportunities, and will play an active role in the company.
He has been associated with Westlife for twenty-five years and has contributed to the company’s growth.
Kalra expressed his excitement about the new role and stated, “It is an exciting time for us as we continue to drive our growth agenda and build on the iconic brand’s legacy. I am confident that I will leverage my commitment and industry experience to deliver best-in-class performance across business parameters that will enable us to take Westlife Foodworld to even greater heights.’’
