Hindware Home Innovation Limited (HHIL), a consumer appliances company has named Salil Kapoor as its new chief executive officer (CEO), the company said in a press release on Monday.
In his new role, Kapoor will lead the consumer business overseeing both consumer appliances and retail divisions. Additionally, he will be responsible for overseeing the water heater JV with Groupe Atlantic of France.

Kapoor is an industry veteran in consumer durables with extensive experience in market expansion, innovation, and building strong customer relationships.
Previously he has worked at LG Electronics, Samsung, Microsoft, Dish TV, and Voltas. Beforehand, he served as the appliances business unit at Orient Electric.
