McCain Foods India’s Managing Director Piyush Patnaik has resigned from his position, marking his departure within one year of assuming the role, a source confirmed the development to BW Retail World.
According to the source, Patnaik cited personal reasons for his decision to step down from the company.
“Yes, he left the company, citing personal reasons,” the source confirmed over a WhatsApp call.
In 2022, Patnaik took on the role of MD for McCain India. He was responsible for overseeing the entire spectrum of operations in India, including manufacturing, supply chain, sales and distribution for McCain.
Patnaik spent more than 16 years working for Cargill prior to joining McCain Foods.
Piyush completed his Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from Utkal University in 1998 and later pursued an MBA. He ventured into the corporate world as an assistant Supply Chain Manager for Dabur and in 2003 he joined Coca Cola as a manager based out of Gurgaon.
