Kanine, a global premium pets company, on Thursday announced its entry into the Indian market through a strategic partnership with Kanine Pets World India and leading ecommerce platform Myntra. The collaboration aims to provide a diverse range of accessories, apparel, grooming products, and more for dogs and cats.

To establish a robust presence in India’s pet-care domain, Kanine India has invested an initial amount of Rs 25 crore. Shilpa Dhingra, Founder & Creative Director of Kanine Pets World India, highlighted India’s substantial potential for growth due to its significant dog owner population and a base of fashion-conscious pet parents looking for stylish options for their pets.
In its first year of operation in India, the company plans to focus on online platforms, encompassing its own website and various marketplace platforms. This approach aims to ensure easy access for pet parents across the nation.
Looking ahead, Kanine intends to expand its footprint by introducing four concept stores in key metro cities. Kanine holds exclusive global licenses for esteemed international brands like Tommy Hilfiger and BOSS Dog Accessories. Additionally, the company has secured global distribution rights for Ralph Lauren pets, further demonstrating its commitment to offering high-quality, globally recognized pet products.
