Blinkit To Deliver Boat Headphones And Accessories

Blinkit, owned by Zomato, announced on Wednesday that it has partnered with homegrown audio brand boAt to deliver headphones and other accessories to people’s doorsteps in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bengaluru in minutes.

Blinkit co-founder and CEO Albinder Dhindsa said in a statement that boAt is extremely popular, and Blinkit is delighted to have them on board. Starting with headphones, Blinkit will soon add more popular products from the boAt portfolio, such as boAt smartwatches and high-end speakers.

These products are perfectly suited to Blinkit’s business model of instant delivery. As the consumer evolves, this demonstrates the platform’s ongoing portfolio expansion to meet a wide range of last-minute needs through the magic of quick commerce, according to Blinkit.

“As audio and wearables have become an essential part of our routine and work scenario, this first-in-line partnership with Blinkit will be a game changer in the world of quick commerce,” said Aman Gupta, co-founder and chief marketing officer (CMO), boAt.

“The convenience of quick delivery will help navigate and troubleshoot the worries of delay, repair and forgetfulness. “BoAt is committed to being present at all touchpoints to create customer satisfaction, loyalty, and advocacy as a customer-centric brand,” he added.

Blinkit announced a partnership with Apple reseller Unicorn Infosolution in September of this year to deliver iPhones and other Apple accessories in as little as 10 minutes. This is the first time a quick commerce platform has sold Apple products or any electronics item.

However, neither Blinkit nor Unicorn Infosolution disclosed how many phones were delivered or ordered through the quick commerce platform.

Blinkit’s platform serves 10 million customers per month across a wide range of categories.
